Joan Kay 'Marti' (Reed) Mancour, 83 of Alma, went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2016 at Masonic Pathways.  Born January 8, 1933 in Ithaca, the daughter of Doug & Ivah Reed. She was an Alma High School Graduate class of 1951.

     Marti worked in many places throughout her life including as a secretary, bookkeeper, realtor, home health aide, cook & as a salesperson at Shirely's Furniture in St. Louis. A devoted mother, grandmother & aunt, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, making crafts, walks in the woods looking for morels, rollerskating, singing, watching old movies & musicals,listening to music, doing charity work for many organizations & helping others. She was always happiest making others smile in anyway she could with her quick wit.

     She is survived by daughters Kim (Ron) McKenna, Kittie Welker; grandchildren Crissy Henriksen, Kristin & Jacob Welker; great-grandchildren Jay Rall III, Angela Ridenhour & Jacob Morgan; sister Judy (Ron) Perry, numerous nieces & nephews, including her favorite Trudi (Royce) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice, brother Richard, grandson Brian Henriksen & great-grandson Michael Ridenhour.

     Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, June 5th, at 1pm followed by a memorial service at 2pm in the Doig Chapel at Masonic Pathways. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice
